Now, most works have been removed, some painted over and others simply taken off. I think Pink and Yellow Gully also no longer remain. Nevertheless, good artworks. Wish something is done to restore and maintain.

It was a wonderful place once upon a time but now most of the artworks are been faded out or been removed because of construction in and around the area. Won't recommend going there in purpose cause you would be disappointed and maps doesn't work properly so make sure you talk to locals and find way across different gullys like yellow gully, pink gully, and blue chow in these areas there are few paintings still left. And also would suggest people to go thru necklace road rather than within the streets. Below attached are the only paintings that are left out in the whole art district.

Graffiti is underrated art!!! I heard people can express their feelings through graffiti. I have been to this place 3-4 times look at the beautiful art by sparying colours on street walls. This is place is near to Raj bhavan road. People go for photo shooting here. You can find arts on almost all walls and few of arts are necklace road walls.

"FLABBERGASTED by the visuals🎨📸" This place is a heaven for art lovers and photographers! Located in quite a residential area, the sites of the graffities are worth waiting to stop and click a photo. The artists have truly outdone themselves to create such a neighborhood , which is quite uncommon to see in India. All the graffities here can be your future wallpapers. To get a nice click, my suggestion to you would be get here around the golden hour. Also though the place is really nice, my only negative would be that the place needs a bit of cleanliness, but otherwise worth your visit 👍

I am fan of exploring Murals around India and exploring Maqta art district in our Hyderabad City was wonderful. Installed by St+art organisation back in 2017, most of the art is now washed away and faded but taking a early morning walk around the streets there still will make you feel good. Simsumarts is very good institution in all aspects who wants to learn art. One year back I joined here for Charcoal, watercolour and Acrylic classes. They take online and offline classes . Instructors are very talented and friendly

Simsum Arts is nice place for art enthusiasts. I have completed 1 year course, where I learnt charcoal, water colour, acrylic painting techniques. Such an amazing place and collection. Ground floor is the gallery, second floor the art collection you can purchase from, and third floor is the art cafe. Such a cool concept and nice people. Smaller gallery in scale, but definitely worth visiting, photos don't do it justice.

It’s a small art gallery. The work is decent, the handicrafts artsy things in the 1st floor look exciting. The place is too hot - no AC turned on, no-proper fans - just couldn’t enjoy the time more than 1/2 hour. When asked the security - he tells they turn on AC only during exhibitions when there is an actual crowd ( imagine the month of May in Hyderabad with no AC in a big space- super suffocating) and this just turned the overall experience to a 3 star! Maybe someone could visit in the winters! Wouldn’t visit again unless there is a better staff!

Update : Although the space is brilliant.. the administration was very disappointing.. they caused so much inconvenience with their absolutely pointless rules. Old review : The place is very spacious; there is so much space to showcase your work. Paintings and sculptures. They also provide a table to display your sculptures. Almost every weekend there is new work from professional and amateur artists. This is a place of inspiration for artists and art lovers. Please definitely pay a visit with your friends / family.

We have tried their hot chocolate, cappuccino with added vanilla, paneer sandwich and potato wedges. Completely worth the price and not very costly. The food and ambience both are amazing. If you are looking for a place to spend an afternoon chatting with a friend over good vegetarian food, this is the perfect place. The service is prompt but discrete, there is no distracting music and the place is relatively uncrowded so nobody rushes at you with the bill even before you finish. There are limited vegan options, but the entire menu is vegetarian so you have a lot to choose from. They are also good with minor customisations. Both the dishes we ordered were a little on the spicy side, so if you have spice intolerance, do ask them to tone it down a bit- I found it prefect. The beautiful art work on the walls adds to the ambiance without detracting from the meal. Will certainly revisit. There is ample parking inside, which is an added bonus. We took the stairs, but there is also a lift. You can also drop in at the Art Gallery on the way in or out- there is always some interesting exhibition going on there.

Recently, we visited The Gallery Cafe , located in Banjara Hills. First impressions - it's a decent spot , particularly for art lovers who might enjoy the artistic ambience. Now, coming to the food, we tried a variety of items: White Sauce Penne Veg Pasta, French Fries, Vietnamese Iced Coffee, Brownie Shake, and the Capricorn Pizza. To be honest, except for the pizza, everything was quite disappointing. The Capricorn Pizza was good, though not exceptional. It had a typical taste that you'd find in many Hyderabad cafes—satisfying but nothing extraordinary. The two most disappointing items were the White Sauce Penne Pasta and the Vietnamese Iced Coffee. The pasta’s sauce was the biggest letdown. The consistency was thin and watery, far from the creamy texture I expected, and the flavor was bland. Additionally, the portion size of the pasta was a bit underwhelming considering the price, which added to the disappointment. As for the Vietnamese Iced Coffee, it was the most disappointing. We ordered it based on the promising description, which mentioned it as “delightfully sweet, full-bodied, and almost like a dessert.” However, what we received was far from that—it lacked sweetness and tasted more like plain black coffee with ice cubes, completely missing the dessert-like appeal the menu promised. The French fries were average, but the cheese served alongside lacked flavor and didn’t complement the fries well. The brownie shake was another letdown—it tasted oddly like Cerelac, possibly due to the poor quality of the brownie used, which overpowered the shake’s flavor. Overall, the food and drinks need considerable improvement. There's a lot of scope for enhancing the taste and ensuring that menu descriptions align with what’s actually served, especially for the coffee options.
