cosy restaurant in the middle of the piste, food is quite ok but also quite expensive, also unappropriate price for wine, some misunderstanding with order, instead of espresso they bring lungo, and also check the bill before you pay, some times the counting failed

terrible and cold food without traditional slovakia meals, terrible beer and the worst service ever (small man with bears). If you need a good restaurant try another.

I don't know how this restaurant have 4.4 stars. it does not make sense for me. Food was really disgusting and cold. I am not satissfied

My favorit restaurant from Jasna Ski.

For me Mikulasska chata is the most beautiful accomodation in Jasna because I love mountain spirit. And such Mikulasska chata is. It is nice, romantic, with nature spirit and athmosphere. Silent area hidden from the crowdy Jasna center. Very clean. Was my pleasure to stay there.

We were enjoying visit of this place. They have good food although there is not many options to choose from. Nice playground for kids with plenty of toys, even for smallest ones. We were only disapointed by weather but I suspect it was not their fault 😉

great family hotel in Jasna resort, quite location at the lake, very friendly staff, great food and amazing spa, very clean room and the interior of hotel is very nice bowling is a good choice when the weather is not good, so what else you can wish in mountains all the best

Nice place to relax after a tracking trip in the woods; Sour cabagge soup and beer (choice of both alcoholic as well as non alcoholic) just makes your day! I'm surely coming back!

Nice rooms, staff and good food although not too many options. But big disappointment is flagon of tap water for 3€.

Had lunch here a few times. At lunch time it was pretty crowded, but the line mostly moved fast. Personnel is nice, even tho they do not speak English well (hard to get across in English). The food was pretty pricey (but then again most ski bars are) and average quality, it was ok but not wow. Beer was always cold and good though. They even have live entertainment on some days. The best thing about this place (we also managed to find it in other bars on the slopes) - is the Bombardino shot. It is a warm shot containing party liquor (something like egg nog) and rum. It is the very best thing when it's cold outside and you've been skiing all day.

The place is pleasant but there was huge problems about the lunch. We waited about 40 minutes standing and waiting to order, wanted to eat some local food. When finally it was our turn, the waitress said unpolitely there's only Fried chicken and potatoes. We asked a beer wahat was warm. Such a waste of ski time!!

Nice view. Self service, limited choice of food, but it's quite tasty. We tried chcken nuggets, grilled sausage, fried cheese and soup. The soup had a little too much fat in it. Service is quick. Prices are reasonable.

Expensive and really mediocre food, only the vibe and look is fine

Cool mountain cabin to stop by while skiing. I had nice cold draft Kofola. Everything would be good, if it wasnt for the cashier looking at us, like we are some kind of a burden.

Ascetic, everything one may need at ski resort (ski depot, breakfast, dinner, sauna, bar). For 2-stars hotel, more than just good. Perfect location - easily accessible and right next to the ski lifts. Price may seem elevated for two stars, but with ski passes and water parks access being included in the accommodation, it looks reasonable. Staff is also great. The only areas for improvement might be adding some kettles/ water coolers at least in the common area, and buying more plates for the restaurants.

Absolutely great place to stay at while staying in Jasna. Perfect location, clean and comfortable rooms. Breakfast is delicious and there is a wide range of selection. The staff is the best, very helpful, kind and friendly. They really making your stay easy and fun. Don't miss the bar, it has a cozy atmosphere and the food is amazing there too.

Lovely atmosphere, very attentive staff in the bar & very friendly. Is positioned extremely good for ski & literally at the bottom of the gondola ski rental & ski pass shop. Hotel itself is rustic & the rooms are basic but clean. If you are just going for a hotel experience then there are nicer but couldn't be better for skiing. Ski slopes & gondolas are every bit as good as you would find in Alps. Thoroughly enjoyed

The hotel is close to the slopes... it's about 50 steps away from the lift. The hotel itself is nice, the rooms are renovated incl. the bathrooms, but those could still use some improvements (eg. no socket for hairdryer). The personnel was very nice. It's also a great advantage that the Al Pacin restaurant is part of the hotel...and the food there was very good.

At the bar: it was lunch, but sat waiting at the bar to order a couple of beers, got ignored by barman for 5 minutes. Sat outside, came back inside holding a menu, got ignored by waitresses. However... When we finally ordered, good beer great food and chilled ambience. Have recommended and would recommend. Just sort out the service?

Food average, kids corner could be bigger, swimming pool too small, area very nice, but had room facing main road which was very noisy and disturbing noise from the fridge located in the bedroom. The biggest disappointment was with presented wifi connections which was not a connection at all. Just hot spot which was most of the day not functional.

Hi there guys ! The hotel is amazing.. Very beautiful, trees are everywhere and one small river in the front.. I came here from Greece and I am in love. The service is perfect. Everything is CLEAN and the food is delicious! Maybe the problem that I found here is the internet.. But you are in holidays on mountain you no need nothing! That's it for me hope it helps ! Bar closes at 9.not sure if because of off peak season. Otherwise nice helpful staff. The billiard table was such a mess. Wouldn't put it as one of the benefits. Otherwise rooms are small but clean. Ski storage available. Food ok. WiFi and mobile network unusable. Do not go there if you need to work online. Despite big billboard with pizza offer they refused to make lunch for my visitors.the cook was busy with dinner prep. How embarrassing.

Simple and delicious daily lunch menu for EUR 6,00. There is a playroom for the kids in the restaurant, staff is very friendly. +++++++

A bit older hotel, beds should change materaces, no phone signal, WiFi weak, everythink other OK. Nice place to stay., kitchen, beverages yumi.

It's worth walking a little further to try the really tasty cuisine, the best place in the area. My favourite dishes are yam soup and fallow-deer ragout, ravioly filled by potatoes, rose hip sauce. By the way, there are few people here compared to the restaurants on the slopes. Prices are standard considering the good quality of the food.

The restaurant is part of the Ostredok hotel and visibly went through a recent renovation. They don't have a huge selection (10 main dishes) which means you would likely get it freshly. Their waitress are really attentive, speak English. We wanted eat the only two vegetarian options but unfortunately they were out of it so we had to resort to meat option. I would normally give a 3 star because of it but their Weiner Schnitzel was really good and the Deer ragout with rosehip sauce was FANTASTIC - perfect texture, spiciness, not chewy deer meat, you can feel the rosehip. I wouldn't give it 5 stars as they were missing both meat-free options and the deer ragout were really meat-heavy (3-4 more pieces of cannelloni would make the perfect balance) but their service attitude and tastiness want them to stand out among the other options. Please keep up. The good work

I highly recommend this hotel! Very good location, clean, friendly staff and the food is literally amazing. Definitely come here sometime, you won't regret it. The hotel has a good concept.

Fantastic restaurant with cosy atmosphere and insanely good food. Huge portions and reasonable prices. A place which you definitely want to visit again. One small remark - there is no option of paying by card so take some cash.

Absolutely terrible. I was excited all day to come to the good old happy end with great food and especially great pizza. Instead my favourite restaurant in Jasna became a profit maximising fast food. The food was barely average. My Schnitzel with fries cost 17€ which is absolutely ridiculous for what I got. My friend ordered a Guláš with a cup of hot chocolate and paid 21€ for it. The Guláš was barely warm. Absolutely terrible decision by the management to change their restaurant model. I highly recommend not going here, you will waste money for mediocre food and standing in line for 15 minutes. I will never come back here again.

Overpriced place with basically fast food offer. I do not recommend this place at all. Aldo offer in other restaurants is even more expensive! Pizza 🍕 slice is 6€. Small wiener snitzel with a little french fries (kids menu) for 15€

Orders at the table. The location and climate inside are quite nice. Staff is helpful and emphatic. Food quite ok, but not superb. Pizza could be baked a little bit more and pasta needs a little more seasoning. Keeping in mind that it's not a Michelin star rated restaurant, but a place to have some rest and eat something after skiing I recommend visiting the place.

Worst restaurant in Slovakia. The food was cold and didn't have any taste. The prices are through the roof and this isn't really a restaurant as it is almost fully self service. Honestly this is one of a few places that you could compare to soviet country diners.

good place. we have visited off season so not much going on here. service was really nice patiently taking our order. food was for me a little bit smaller portions but I think for normal people it will be just right. we haven't found any highchairs for kids and we were not offered any so I assume they do not have. recommend

4 stars review due to kids amenities. Otherwise I would put 3*. What is really good is location, split pools for kids vs adults and all the animations for kids. Also breakfast buffet has enough choices. Fitness center is well equipped and big enough to fit 5-6 people easily so each can train. What I believe should improve are dinners. Buffet would be better option than A la carte which you choose at the breakfast. Also the kids foods for dinner was too posh for my kids and judging by tables around for most kids indeed. Also to charge 3.20 EUR for a jug with lemon water if you don’t order alcoholic drink is just too much nowadays. Water in kids pool was warm enough, and the area has saunas right next to it. The rooms interior was basic but clean and okay for a stay. Would appreciate bigger size TV than small 40inch.

This hotel has 2 wellness, within our 4 days/3 nights stay the one -new one was closed...due to technical problem's-when I was asking what is theq issue they were not able to explain... in the room no reading lamps, in reality no chance to be reading in the evening as overal lights in the room were very poor...no shampoo in bathroom, there is an bottle in the shower, with no label, and when I was asking for shampoo answer was that the liquid in that bottle has duch and shampoo 2in1 .... Definitely not 4 stars hotel....

Clean, spacious rooms, comfortable beds. Free parking. Courteous smiley personell, quite strict covid rules followed. High quality food, even if too fancy for me, nevertheless very tasty. I felt very comfortable during my stay.

Positive: Great Wellness area & pool. Very good ski room. Very good breakfasts & evening meals. Very child friendly. Negative: WiFi in the bedrooms is terrible (5 minutes to load a web page if you are lucky. More likely the browser will time out). The coffee machine is only available for breakfast - during the day and evenings the machines are turned off and you need to order coffee from staff (and pay €2.50 per cup). After spending so much on the rooms, charging for coffee just seems petty. I'd like to see one of the two bars exclude children as it appears there aren't child free areas. As half the hotel guests seem to be children under 5 years of age, it can be irritatingly noisy & chaotic at times.

Amazing food beautifully served, warm and cosy place. Highly recommended, Duško made us feel so comfortable. We will be back here.

A very pleasant surprise. After a couple disappointments in the surrounding area, this was a marvel. Starting with a stylish and pleasant design of the place, nothing too fancy, one felt close to the outdoor nature. The menu has a humorous dimension and explains the story of the place. We tried several of the dishes and each was a success. The offer of local craft beer and spirits as well as the service was a cherry on the top.

Nice place with rich menu, mostly of local food. The restaurant is located in a very pretty place so we sat outside by the river and the forest and it was just lovely. They don't have an English menu but the waitress was very helpful. We parked for free on the parking of the next door hotel.

Food was really good, but that is all what is good. We ordered the food when there were only two tables occupied (including us) and waited 45 minutes for it (I've had to urge the waitress already). We received a menu with old prices (one month after previous review which stated same problem) and we had to pay higher prices - 12euro for normal fried cheese with french fries (on the picture). I understand the higher prices in this region, but this is way too much! Simple food for 4 person (2x cheese and 2x dumplings) for almost 60euros is outrageous! This is not the way how to get back the money for the previous covid season.

Perfect traditional Slovak restaurant. Beautiful retro interior, nice staff, amazing food which was ready couple minutes after order. Would highly recommend :) //Edit: last time we tried goose feast and holy mother of goose, that was amazing!!!

We ordered a fitness salad with turkey meat. We got three slices of tomato, a little grilled cheese and some bread (for 7 euros!!, see picture). They said that the translation on the menu is generally inaccurate. How true! Also, I got my potato dumplings without sausage and service was unfriendly. We told them that we weren't satisfied and the waiter just said that is wasn't his fault but the menu's fault. Strange explanation. Above all else, they didn't even turn on all the lights in the restaurant which made it look only half open. All waiters seemed stressed and upset even though there weren't many guests. The only reason they get 2 stars is because the food was pretty good.

There is a nice atmosphere with authentic interior. BUT the food was terribly tasteless and not worth the prices at all. (A grilled cheese costs 9€ without a side dish!). The only good thing we ordered was a grape draght lemonade.
