I think the best feature of this place is the interior furnishings and decor; interesting collection of pictures, memorabilia etc. However I have to agree with several other reviews regarding "value for money", it's a bit of a "tourist trap" and you're paying for it's location and unique style. Personally I would rather spend my money on good value hearty food. I'm not writing without experience as have found some excellent Hungarian restaurants on the outskirts of Budapest which serve great food at reasonable prices. It my second one month visit to Hungary, but after the main course here, I left hungry.

Beatiful restaurant in a beautiful town! Vintage and great atmoshpere, the inside of the restaurant is so aesthetic! Really delicous food! I was pleasantly suprised. The waitresses were nice also they knew english. Bud the food so tasty! I really enjoyed this exprience. Would visit again!👍

Excellent place to have a good meal. Large portions. Always start with the goulash soup.

Excellent food, great atmosphere, luxurious interior, kind waiters that speak solid english. The only downside is the restaurant is a bit pricy, but it's definitely worth it.

Food was excellent. In the name is pub and I expected more types of beer.

We've come here as a group of 14 people after a school leaving ceremony. Everything had been set up perfectly in advance, and everything was beautiful when we arrived. The whole restaurant looked very posh, elegant, and clean. The staff was always polite and professional, and the chef got my vote, since the food was astoundingly delicious. So, a pretty place, well-trained staff, and amazing food, what else do you need? My only con would be the tiny "parking lot" it has, but there are parking spaces aplenty on the streets, and also 50m away is a huge parking lot - although these are not free.

This restaurant is one of, if not the best in Gyor. They recently opened up a new wing and completely remade their older wing. We had the luck to held our wedding event there and all of our guests were amazed by the quality of the food and the service that they got. They have lunch menu during weekdays at a very reasonably price. Even though it's not located inside the main square of the city center, it still has a central location. I highly recommend this place for any occasion.

Some years ago I used to be have a lunch here day by day. Good, tastefull meals, and good place for family,or bigger team

A bit expensive but these burgers definitely worth their price. It deserves a try best burgers around Győr. Restroom is clean. Staff is nice.

They have really great burgers, definitely one of best in my life. If you are hungry, go for medium size. Big size is too much even for 2 people :). They speak English and have English menu. Environment is really nice. If you are close to Győr, definitely visit this place.

Nice atmosphere for fastfood restaurant and nice music, friendly staff and one vegan burger on the menu. Unfortunately as a set, it comes with non-vegan coleslaw, so as a vegan you pay for something you don't eat.

I dont think I paid the price of the food for carcinogenic ingredient(it was beef Cubano Ciabatta). I can cook better than this. But Hoegaarden from tap and fried sweet potato was ok. 탄음식 줍니다. 암걸리고싶으시다면 방문하세요~

Super and private outdoor environment, great unique decoration on the stairwell down to the really clean bathroom. Authentic hungarian cuisine, super large portions we had a hard time finishing! Lunch menus available for only 2200 Ft but average tasting, recommend trying dug legs or beef soup instead or share dishes!

It is a really good place, we were in the garden area and it has good atmosphere restaurant is dog friends, the foods are delicious and service is really nice, I highly recommend this place

Had the most amazing chicken dish! Even asked the chef for the recipe. Absolutely great value for money but just a shame it closes so early during the week. Can't have everything I suppose!!! Great place to eat and highly recommended 👌

This was one of the best meals I’ve ever eaten. We had the goulash and the steak dish. First off, the entire meal was full of flavor and EXTREMELY delicious. One of the best meals I’ve had in a long time. As an FYI the portions are large, so you might want to try one potion at a time. The staff was very nice, and spoke English well. Also they accept credit cards not cash only.

Flippin' Amazing Place! So.....I just kinda stumbled over that place. I was giving my mom a ride to get to the dentist in Györ and got hungry so we went to grab a bite to eat and i looked over a few places on Google. I saw this restaurant and thought "oh well...it doesn't look that touristy, let's give it a shot. After almost not finding it (I think that in the winter it's not fully opened, but ofc i'm too stupid to ask) the owner(?) waved us into what seemed like a side entrance. Down into the cellar as if you're getting into someones home and then there is the most delightful arched ceiling, cosy red velvet chairs on massive black tables and a jug of water and glasses on every table. That's the first plus in my book. The waitress spoke english, the waiter english and german (i couldn't speak a little bit hungarian to save my life, sorry for that!)...and i ordered blindly off the daily menu. I got a mushroom soup with popcorn, main course was chicken on rice with a salad and ordered some dessert extra. Everything was DELICIOUS, tastet as if i was just visiting a friend who's mom is cooking and asks me if i wanted a plate as well, and the service was attentive, polite and very welcoming. I couldn't have been happier with the place we picked for lunch and i'll certainly come again if i ever get back to Györ. THANK YOU for the nice memories!

Nice restaurant, very kindly stewards and very delicious food. I found only little things to improve but on the other hand onion was perfect and wine as well. Recommended!

We stayed here for a night, and were maximally pleased. The rooms are nice and clean, the whole place has a great atmosphere. Breackfast is included in the price.

One of my favourite places to have a relaxed lunch in Győr. The food is superb, the staff is professional and the place is gorgeous, especially in summer when you can sit on the shady terrace. They make good steaks which is not common.

Nice place for having a drink and dinner/lunch. You get nice view over the river and oldtown. Only problem was personal. We were there arround 4:30pm, three tables ware occupied and the rest was free even not setup, but we have been told is fully booked and offered us table in the corner. First question was what “how can we help you” - obviously we would like to have a beer and sit down for 20min, but no chance, they gave us some corner in empty reataurant, maybe the problem was us (2 adults + 2kids 5&7yrs). No reason to put us to hideaway on side. So we thanked and left the restaurant. Sorry guys we told you wanted to spend 20mins to drink a bier.

The hotel is placed in a great location in the city centre, where everything can be reached by foot! problem is with parking, Hotel doesn't provide enough parking place, so you have to search for parking! Sauna and fitness are good, and breakfast is tasty. But Hotel is a bit outdated, rooms are 'old' and not at all soundproof... so you hear noise from the streets

Small room, to warm during the night with no option to regulate the temperature. Bathroom ok . Perfect placed to walk into the city.

The location of this place is really pretty, I love water and it was just extremely nice to spend my birthday at this place, which also gave off romantical vibes. You could watch the sunset, while enjoying these moments with closest people. The food was amazing!! Really delicate and gentle fish. The only complaint I had is about the waiter, who left us for 20 minutes, when we only entered. He didn't give us any menu and we had to find it ourselves. It also felt like only 2 waiters are working in the whole place, but there were a lot of people.

We had a very nice dinner here on an occasion of a birthday celebration. We were hungry enough to decided to start it with soups before the main dishes. All the different soups tasted delicious, garlic and cream soup in a roll was the best of all of them. We selected a wide range of main dishes too which was just as great as you could have imagined it. Decent portions and friendly environment. Expect slower response on new round of drinks when it is busy but other then that we had a great time. I would happily recommend this place , to make sure you have a table , booking ahead of time is preferable.

The location is nice, right on the river. The food was only average taste and I think a little overpriced. If the staff were nicer, maybe this would make up for it- but they were not.

Last night we went for a special treat and we ate a 3 course dinner at the Hajó Restaurant. All my dishes were very delicious, above my expectations, and everything was vegan. I am very glad, as there are no vegan evening dining places in town at all, so this unique experience made my day. The restaurant itself is lovely, clean and there's a pleasant atmosphere as well. Our server, Akos, was very kind, he made sure we have a good experience. Special thanks for the chef, Krisztian. 💚

Really nice food and staff is super friendly

We went twice in our three-day stay, that’s how much we liked it. The food was tasty, homemade and nicely presented. You may not want to get an appetizer, as the portions are very generous. The staff is kind and friendly. Good price-value ratio. The sponge cake with whipped cream and fruit was out of this world. Highly recommend!

We were in this wonderful restaurant on January 4, 2023, and I can freely say, that he additionally embellished the wonderful impressions from Gyor. When we entered, there were still seats, but after our arrival, everything quickly filled up, the atmosphere is wonderful, relaxed, pleasant, and yet so cultural. The waiter was wonderful, helpful, and the service is at a very high level. And the food is a fairy tale! Everything is so deliciously prepared, aesthetically pleasing, and of high quality. We will definitely come again, and I recommend it!

A Canadian Tourist Review: Huge vegetarian pizza with very fresh toppings. I was expecting a much smaller pizza given the price. It was 3000 Hungarian Fonti. The beer was 1000 Fonti but one beer here is equivalent to two beers in Canada. Overall this massive beer and huge pizza is equivalent to under 15 CAD. Huge bargain given this is the only restaurant in the plaza which is a prime tourist location. Fantastic service. Servers speak fluent English. Highly highly recommend!

Food was tasty, a little pricier than expected but not too bad. Service was mostly good but rather rushed, as soon as my partner had put his fork down they swooped in to take away his plate (he hadn't finished and the place wasn't at all busy so we didn't understand the need!) We felt a little uncomfortable and observed until we finished the plates, I think perhaps the staff were bored on a slow day..

Good food. Rolled in on my bike from Bratislava and spotted this nice little open air restaurant in the main square. Food was tasty and prices seemed fine.

A Canadian Tourist Review: Whenever I am in a foreign country, I always want to see a unique menu. Hungary definitely has that! It is also open later than most other eateries in Györ as the town tends to shut down quickly. Prices were also much cheaper than the McDonald's in nearby Vienna and much better menu items!

Run of the mill, usual McDonald's. Interesting point though, if you're dining in, you gotta pick up the number beside the ordering machine. The workers will bring you the food. Tried the brie burger,nnot bad. Could include a straw in the package with drinks though for takeaway. There was non. Had to drink my shake upside down

Although i bought my meal here, i was charged by the cleaning lady to go into the restroom…. Never seen this on a mac…

I had to wait for my order for 30 min and still did not receive it, had to request refund for it. Worst service ever

Hopelessly alien extruded fries with burgers having very little if none similarity with appetizing pictures. But many people like this chewy textureless type of food. I guess they deserve it😁

Good location especially for visiting city center. Also, lot of brands are present which you can't find in Slovakia.

There was quite a lot of shops, I went in for the food court, some pizza and Ice Cream, was nice!

It is biĝgggg shopping mall which has a lot of items you want. Zara ,Interspar,H&M, sports wear shops , cosmetics, and cafes ...

Huge mall with lot of choices. Very good food courts. Highly recommended
