Perfect vinery and restaurant in the old part of Mikulov, close to the castle. Very nice people, perfect food and wine. Really nice climate. Dogs are accepted. Additional star for the playlist of music in the background (for those who like good old rock/pop)

Lovely space to sit for a wine or two but the service was bad. The staff didn't even smile once and did not make us feel welcome. Food was good but not worth the prices.

It is really good place to rest and drink a coffee with cakes :) I recommend visiting it if you are in Mikulova.

Best place in Mikulov!! Amazing wine, amazing space - the building is greatly renovated. We loved the atmosphere and the whole idea of the place. If you are in Mikulov this is for sure MuSt VIsit place. And don’t forget to try one of the cakes they offer.

Definitely recommend this place in Mikulov to come and try some local wine. The wine list is extensive. Inside is a nice fireplace and comfortable tables. Can spend hours here trying different wines. Wines by the glass and bottle.

Interesting restaurant. They have a Jewish menu (along with regular one) with Jewish dishes, as a reminder of what was once a common cuisine in this town. The food was very nice and the service as well. Unfortunately no vegan options besides salad and bread.

I asked medium steak. They brought me a well done or maybe medium well. It was not salty neither tender. It was not possible to call out to make a reservation, so we came there and were awarded to eat quickly max 1,5 hour. The prices are comparable to Prague. Well, idk , but neither food nor service is not with it. We ordered a starter, drinks everyone and the main dishes for 4 people. Just negative experience.

What a fantastic lunch that was. I totally recommend this restaurant. Soup was delicious, salad well prepared and big amount of goat cheese. Tagliatele with veal ragu was excellent. Goose fillet was delicious as well. Also the service was very good. Food in pictures.

Excellent food! Everything we had was delicious and they some really creative dishes. The heat beef tartare I’ve had (in a restaurant), would also recommend the duck liver risotto. Caked stuffed with pulled duck were also very good. Stylish interior. Service was so-so.

Delicious meal - tagliatelle with shrimps, bruschetta with goat cheese, lettuce with cheese, fantastic tartare. We chose a delicious Pereleh dry white wine from a local vineyard. Super nice service. Friendly atmosphere. I will be returning as soon as possible.

Lovely brunch, had the pear and gorgonzola toast, the mushroom soup and the open sandwich with prosciutto, mozzarella and polnicek. The sandwich was really well balanced flavour-wise, and the pear and gorgonzola was super simple and delicious.

Beautiful little cafe, YUMMY COFFEE I must say! We also had pea soup, which tasted just okay for us, and a tapas platter, which was delicious. However we did not like the bread that came with it at all. Very friendly staffs, overall would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Mikulov and looking for a nice cozy cafe

Nice place for brunch, we had espresso tonic, flat white and food - pear cake, homemade bread, cottage cheese and everything what you can see. Delicious, we recommend :) Filtered coffee would be nice improvement, we will see in future :)

Lovely little bistro, had a great summer plater and some good house wine, first basket of bread was a little dry but they changed it without question. Perfect little stop on a cycle or walking tour

Our favourite place on the way to Vienna. A nice place for a coffee stop just before entering Austria from Czech Republic. Prices are a bit high but quality matches the cost comfortable. The town of Mikulov also deserves a walk around it if you have the time.

A great bar on the main square. They have a pretty good menu, with classic Czech food. I didn't eat, but the inside of the restaurant looked good. Staff were a little slow, but friendly.

5 stars is simply not enough to rate the experience. From the very first moment we entered the restaurant we somehow felt it's going to be a special visit. Clean and fresh all around. Staff is absolutely amazing, It almost felt unreal how welcoming they were. Service was fast, attentive, always with a smile. Food was delicious, portions just about the right size to fill you up but not to make you feel stuffed or heavy. This visit was a beautiful cherry on top of my first visit to Mikulov. Highly recommended!! Do not miss!

Food looks horrible but taste amazing We've got our soups and dishes quickly, all was tasty, hot, and well spiced. Place doesn't look nice, food looks like someone ate it, but flavour is reach, going through your body, and taking your soul to heaven.

Do not be discouraged by the review. I am from India but I was delighted with food, local home made vodka and the staff was very friendly. If you are in Mikulov you must visit Pod radnici.

Classic Czech cuisine, everything was tasty.

We ordered the pea soup and the tenderloin in gravy with dumplings. We thought it was all very good and the prices were good and we are happy. Ordering was made difficult by the fact that we don’t speak Czech and the employees didn’t speak English, the menu was only in Czech, and google translate was imperfect. The food was different from what we eat in the USA - it was traditional Czech food following classic recipes. The flavors were all good - just unexpected. To an American, Czech dumplings are like a soft doughy bread. The gravy was lemony. The meat was a little confusing, but reading about it afterward - they traditionally poke holes in the meat and insert bacon for tenderness - which explains the appearance. The service was prompt and kind - especially to a group of people who did not know the language or understand the food. The building is GORGEOUS. If I ever heard that a friend were going to Mikulov - I’d totally recommend they eat here.

Floor staff is not too bad bud could see it was a bit demotivated. Why? because they don't get much tips. Why? Because their chef can’t cook. Why? Because the owner does not want to pay for a good chef… 35min waiting for roasted duck with red cabbage and dumplings… Then I was given a defrosted duck which was cold inside that the fat was still solid like gelatine. It was bloody cold. Waiter politely apologised and admitted that chef is learning how to use their new convectomat… Why did we wait for 35 min for quickly re-heated duck??? And we were the only customers in the whole restaurant. Duck was tasteless as well. No added flavors, no honey made skin crust, no caraway, nothing. Chef has no idea what is he doing. Not even sign of any attempt to cook well. For $300 I would expect decent meal. Avoid that place.

You can eat there traditional Czech cuisine. Good price and tasty food. Interior is not fancy but service was pretty nice . Nice restaurant in Mikulov.

Communicative service, serving food which is delicious. We ate potato dumplings with pork and beef (two types). Both of them were tasty and served fast. I recommend this restaurant for travelers which are during their trip and people who want to eat some delicious, traditional Cech food.

It was a very pleasant restaurant. I think that you are getting what you are paying and I was satisfied with my food. They are definitely not a fancy restaurant, but I think you can have a proper meal before you start drinking wine. Would recommend especially because of the location

Food was good but our waiter was very rude. We came here for lunch but our waiter kept rushing us saying the table is reserved (after allowing us to sit). After that he never served with a smile and kept slamming the plates and glasses on our table when we ordered something additional. He also kept eyeing our table and shaking his head for some reason. We definitely did not feel welcomed and on top of that he forced a tip out of us too. P.S. The pics on Google are very very deceiving. Once you get their as see the menu, you will not see burgers mentioned there, very limited selection of salad and other foods as well. This would be our only visit to the place and I would certainly not miss it.

We had w nice family lunch, enjoyed the fishtanks inside the restaurant, what a great way to entertain the kids;) The staff was super nice and well organised, the food was really good and fresh.

As the restaurant was situated on our way to the city centre we dropped into. Nice place and tasty meals. The service was excellent and we didn’t have to wait long. It’s been not too expensive either. I totally recommend it.

The food was delicious and freshly prepared, but a 45+ minute wait for a salad is unreasonable. The salad had no dressing, however there was oil (no vinegar) at the table. The server did not explain or apologize for the delay.

A very nice place with tasty food! We came multiple times during our stay in Mikulov and were always happy. The service is fine, prices are okay and the food quality is good. During the evenings it was always full so I would recommend making a reservation. We tried their cakes and also various things from the breakfast menu. The baguette with smoked salmon was very nice and also the scrambled eggs. Grilled chipolata was a bit too salty for my taste. Desserts were also very nice! They also have a small space for kids to play. The only thing we missed was that there was no mimosa on the menu.

Had a delicious dinner, the tartare was fresh and light, while the soup was flavourful and warming. The pickled cheese was tasty and nicely spiced.

Stunning service and food aswell. Located in the middle of the city. Servings are fair sized and very tasty. We got our foor fast too! Can recommend and probably will return. Very nice!

We ordered Ceasar salads, burger with pulled beef, chicken steak and dumplings with grilled duck breast- really everything was very tasty, not overcooked! Reasonable price, nice staff. if possible- reserve table in advance. Would really recommend to friends!

Tasty food, nice restaurant. Center of the town. Huge choice of desserts.

What is good: - wonderful view - restaurant with big terrace - beautiful surroundings, many flowers - very comfortable beds and pillows - flexibility of reservation; - big free parking; - great breakfast. What is bad: - high price in the restaurant, food taste is poor - oversalted, cold or unfresh; - very hot inside restaurant and not many tables at the terrace; - poor soundproof of rooms, it is hard to sleep as you hear everything happening in other rooms and koridor; - waitresses treated us with no friendliness and respect! All in a bad mood, they mixed up our order several times, we felt totally unwelcome here and zero respect :(

Many people think restaurant in this place is open 24hrs. It’s NOT! Although being in such location, it’s not. Even at the breakfast you will not be able to order typical Czech food like fried cheese with French fries. We were in this place early in May. Absolutely dissapointing!

Our family randomly stopped by this hotel while returning from Austria. And this stop could be just another of hundreds of similar ones, but not in this case ... The hotel creates home comfort from the first seconds! Hanka met us at the reception. She was not only highly professional but also very responsive, friendly and open and was ready to help in every little thing... It's safe to say that she is the perfect face of this place. The rooms are very clean, comfortable and thought out ergonomically… A wonderful view of the old castle from the hotel’s balcony wonderfully complemented the picture… The hotel restaurant was a triumphant addition… Despite the heavy workload for the staff (the hotel is always full), the service made the atmosphere just like home. Tamara and Marina, with their personal, generous and caring approach, made the stay unforgettable. They are the soul of this hotel. The kitchen is just amazing! Even the breakfast at the hotel is far from ordinary…. We wanted to stay for a few more days ... The establishment is located in a town that is a must-see for travel lovers ....

Made a quick stop to this restaurant on our trip to Vienna. Food was good and service was quick and efficient.

Not great, not terrible. The food was average - big menu, lot of options on the menu not available whatsoever. I don’t know where the idea about big portions come from in the other reviews. The staff was inconsistent - one waiter strived to do the best job, the other ones felt like they hated their job. No toilet paper in the toilets. Food was not delivered at the same time - big delay on the pizza. Chocolate soufflé saved the dinner.

We arrived quite late (21:30) but thanks to very kind and willing personnel, we were still able to get some meal. Btw pizza Italiana was delicious :-)

Kitchen close at 22, barman is a little drunk at that time and very unprofessional. Nobody speak English

We have been there 2 times the first time we had a great experience. Second time everything was going smoothly until we asked for dessert then the waitress (brown long hair, glasses) became extremely rude. We do not recommend going there

Centrally located place with decent food and nice personnel. We ordered multiple things and the steak was definitely the best one. Burger was also fine, however, the spinach gnocchi were not exactly amazing. The portion could be a bit bigger and maybe a bit more sauce would help it. The outside seating area is placed on the main street so you can enjoy the buzz of the city while eating

Beautiful and chill restaurant with great food. Some people might see this place as “too simple” or “watered down” but it’s really not. Chill and low-key place, it gives off the vibes of a secret bar in an action movie. I’d come here again if I had the chance. The Thai-Sweet and Sour soup was a 10/10 dish and the cheeseburgers are fine. The bathrooms are very clean and the waiters are the friendliest I’ve ever seen. Easiest 5/5 in my whole life. I unfortunately forgot to take pictures of the interior but it is filled with beautiful paintings and art that you should definitely check out! Overall, this place is a good and cozy restaurant with good food🤌

I was really happy to be here. The quality of the food was very high. The price was the surprise!🤩 If you want to make a small trip from Vienna. I recommend Mikulov and the dinner in this restaurant!! I only had a light meal for lunch but I can tell that the chef has a very high skill!

Tasteful meal and sympathetic service. We enjoyed a pleasant lunch trying risotto one with mushrooms and pork, other with tomatoes and marinated salmon. 🤌 I would only propose to level up the table setting as it is not matching the great quality of the meals.

The service was very bad. Just after we entered bar tender started to argue with other member of the service team who wanted to seat us that our group of 6+3 kids is too big (place was there) and actually through us away.
