This has to be my favorite pub in Munich if you are craving a lot of beer and good food. I ate the best spicy burger here and drank 1,5L of beer. Trust me it is so easy with a good atmosphere and pleasant staff. You can not imagine how happy I was after this. Garden is really nice, but wait till you see that the whole pub inside is underground where you can watch football with amazing people. I was surprised because I did not expect it to be this good it looks like a normal pub, but it has a soul! Highly recommend this place. Prices are totally reasonable for the quality you are getting, it is not expensive.

Kennedy's Bar offers an authentic atmosphere that keeps me coming back. The highlight undoubtedly is the impeccable Guinness beer they serve. It's become a ritual for me to enjoy its rich flavor every time I visit. The cozy ambiance complements the experience, making it a go-to spot for those seeking a genuine Irish pub feel.

Great Irish pub with great atmosphere. Decent beers with no massive head on them like in the beerhauses. We stayed in here all evening ordering pitchers and we also ordered a large nachos and some satay skewers to snack on and the bill was quite cheap around 60 euros. They have sports on the TVs and There was a live band on later on who weren’t too bad.

If you want to spend some time in a crowded bar where you need to shout to while talking go to Kennedy’s :)) If you wanna watch football with your friends and get excited and pour beer over each other, Kennedy’s is a good option :)) BUT for a chill evening and good beer I do not recommend here, the atmosphere is so live and beer doesn’t have the best quality, it is just normal. P.S. I’ve never eaten here, so no comment on food quality!

Stopped by this place to rest on a sunny afternoon. There is a nice sized patio with plenty of seating. Later I discovered the entire pub is underground! Very cool! The decor is awesome and makes you feel transported to Dublin. It's a great place to spend hours. I tried the apple pie as I had already had lunch. It was great, way better than I was expecting for a pub with the presentation being gourmet level. The menu is pub food with some German classics so it has more variety than most biergartens in the city. Highly recommended for a visit while you're in Munich.

Very nice Location near the City center. Even without Reservation we (3 Person) got a Tablet immediately. Food was very good and really big portions. Waiter was always around and attentive.

Food, beer and vine - all was good. But can not recommend. service is strange. At the beginning we waited 10min for the menu. At the end we've asked 2 times for the bill. And finally it took us 30 min to get the bill and pay.

Really easy to get to location, plus it’s out of the bustle of Marienplatz so it’s a lot less busy Seated straight away and the decor is fantastic, Christmas decorations everywhere and Bavarian trinkets. The food was really good and generous too - everyone ate and drank a lot! Only downside was our waiter who seemed very annoyed he had to look after us. He even made up some story about not being able to accept card even though I’d seen other tables accept (perhaps he thought he wouldn’t get a tip?) Either way, I’d return, plus if the waiter was nice it be perfect!

I came here with my best friend quite late to have Kaiserschmarrn but sadly we were too late and the kitchen was closing soon. The waiter Aslin was kind enough to bring us our dessert and a bit of Kaiserschmarrn that was left! The kindest man and very well mannered and friendly! Would 100% recommend the place 🥰

Beautiful restaurant situated in the famous park in Munich. We organised a company event there with a buffet meal and the qualit of the food was fantastic and everything stayed warm throughout the event. Would love to come back for a full dinner.

Love this beautiful small beergarden in the English garden Munich. Gentle atmosphere next to the lake.unless there is a party but you can sit further away from it. Paddle boats on the pond. Bring your own picnic with table cloth and buy beer or wine. Lovely 😍 watch the sun go down. There is also a serviced area if you wish to have a waiter.

Foods are very delicious specially the Pizza has the authentic Italian taste. Price is reasonable and the food portion is always huge. All staffs are friendly and try their best to serve foods. It is always better to make a reservation otherwise guests may need to wait for 10/15 minutes in a queue specially on the Weekend.

We went for lunch and had some pasta, lasagna and salad. The food was great. But the location, the atmosphere and the interior were the best. However the service was average. We asked for more plates since we ordered our food to share in the middle but the first staff that we made a request to, seemed to forgot and went around the restaurant chatting with other staffs, while we sat there waiting at our table starring at our pasta but couldn’t eat since we have no plates. In the end we had to find other staff to finally got our plates.

It is situated at a very prime location so the accessibility and the view from the restaurant is great. The interior is also very classy and the place is always busy. Without reservations it is minimum 20 mins of wait time. The servers are good and the food is also good. Prices are decent not too high. Fits with the portions of food they provide. The only problem was that the pasta was a little undercooked. So, in all it's a good place to spend some time.

The atmosphere & location is why you'll come here. The place itself is enormous!! And is decorated cutely with a German Christmas vibe! Food is great! Get the Pork Knuckle, it's so soft & flavourful! If you like Apple Pie, my wife really enjoyed it here!!

Restaurant has 1K seats so very busy and can be noisy. Waitstaff is busy running around. The restaurant has many large halls so you may be seated in any of them. Each has its own decor. The beer selection is fine. The food is typical for tourist area. Would not recommend. First waiter gave attitude and second waitress requested a tip even though it took a while, as other reviewers have noted, and no one came around to check on us. Schnitzel was cold and unedible. It’s better in Vienna.

The food was worth the wait. It was so lovely, from starters to dessert. All 5/5. I'm not sure if they are a Michelin Star restaurant,if not they definitely deserve one. AndI do know they serve food from heaven 😋. I definitely recommend it..this is located downstairs on the busy streets of Marianplatz, Munich.

An unmissable place in the city. Located in the internal courtyard of the Munich residence, in front of the famous Marienplatz, it is characterized by refined and themed furnishings, frescoed rooms with wood and stone elements that create a special atmosphere. An excellent restaurant away from the tourist traps in Munich city centre. It's full-on Bavarian, with all the standard dishes you'd expect to find. The Schweinebraten was excellent with a superb thick sauce and dumplings. The Käsespätzle were more like Knöpfli, but served with delicious Allgäuer cheese. The service was attentive and the prices were more than fair. It's certainly a place that is worth the journey.

A genuine German biergarten in a park on the outskirts of the city, where we ate a tasty supper washed down with half litre glasses of chilled lager. The waiting staff are so efficient & quick & the huge numbers of people they’re serving & keeping happy is incredible. A genuine Bavarian experience not to be missed! Dogs most welcome & there’s a fun fair & a deer 🦌 park to amuse you as well should you wish 🥰

In my opinion this is quite average, the food as well as service. Among other things, I ordered Kaiserschmarrn which was OK, not the best, not the worst. So, yes, average. In terms of the self-serviced Biergarten, it is nothing special as there are better ones in Munich. Moreover, you can only pay cash in the Biergarten which is a huge downside. It is 2023, who carries cash anymore?! Especially when the food is expensive as here and the total comes to a larger amount quite easily.

I organized my farewell event here and ordered a barrel of beer for the group. We loved it ... The beer was so much better than the regular beer plus it was served in ice cold glasses. I had the Schnitzel and Kaiserschmarrn. Both were amazing 😍

the only negative point i need to tell: i forgot my ‚Lederhosen‘. A friend of mine and I enjoyed Lunch at this stunning place with some typical Weisswürste and Schnitzel. Just delicious. There is a parking space near the restaurant and the place is in a quite area. It is little bit outside of Munich - but totally worth it.

Great service, and not too crowded, like the brauhaus right in front of it. Food was exceptional, and they even had a special Oktoberfest menu. All over the place, you will find memorabilia from artists. Will definitely return. Thanks!

This place seems to always be full, so it gets kinda loud. I tried the salmon, and it was good, but not the best I’ve had. The sweet chilli flavor was a bit too strong for the salmon taste. The mashed potatoes that came with it were really nice, though. We also ordered some burger sliders, and those were great. Overall, a decent meal, but the place could be a bit too busy for some.

I really enjoyed my meal at this Hard Rock Cafe- one of the best ones that I've visited! Their daily local menu was unique and delicious and their staff were friendly and welcoming. Great atmosphere in this Hard Rock, with the usual memorabilia and great design choices.

To be honest for me every Hard Rock Cafe feels the same, no matter where’s located. Same atmosphere same level of service I can’t rate the food we only had drinks. There was guitar of the guns and roses, jacket of Kiss, Peter Maffay boots and some and other stuff…

First time going to Hard Rock Café in Europe and it was a wonderful time ,I'm absolutely gonna come back again in the future. I order BBQ Bacon Cheeseburger , Hurricane and Cheesecake and it was lit 🌟 and our server, Albin was awesome 🌟 dude deserve a raise! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

This was a good Bavarian restaurant with a great selection of local brews. The food was definitely good, but not near the best restaurants that serve similar food. The Oktoberfest pan was good, but the meat was not anything spectacular. The potato soup was quite delicious and definitely a good dish on a cold day. The beer selection here was the highlight and definitely worth a stop. A good place to drink with reasonable food.

My wife and I visited Munich for the first time from USA. We enjoyed many restaurants, but agree this was our favorite. Had dinner here on three occasions. Excellent food, beer, and service. Enjoyed ribs, venison, and meatballs. Wonderful potato salad. Wish we had the opportunity to try more dishes and will do so when we return. Anyone giving this establishment a one star review is most likely a moron.

Good beer, good food, great staff, what else could you want?! Schneider is a world famous major brew house for their top notch wheat beers. There is a huge selection to pick from including collaboration beers. The menu even suggests which beer to pair with which dish so you get the best experience possible. Prices run about €15-25 for food and €5 for beer. The schnitzel was top notch and the liver cheese was very good. Even the goulash was solid! There is a seasonal Oktoberfest menu if you come at that time. Indoor and outdoor seating is available. Staff speaks English very well.

Big pub! Lots of seating however you will probably share a table with strangers which is all part of the fun! Good beers! Great food - we ordered the brewhouse board and it did not disappoint. Staff were incredibly busy and a little sharp but not entirely rude. Nevertheless the atmosphere was cool and the prices were great!

Had 4 different plates to share - pork belly, pork knuckle, 5 sausages & suckling pig, all were great, best one was definitely the pork belly plate with sauerkraut and potato pancakes. Apple fritters for dessert were also great. Place was a bit busy, to be expected however we only had to wait for around 5 mins to be given a table. They provided an English menu on request and the waitress was also pretty friendly.

Great atmosphere and food. We had the pumpkin risotto and the Wiener Schnitzel. Both were good, but I highly recommend the Risotto if you visit during the season. - make sure to go past the outdoor cafeteria if you want the restaurant. The cafeteria part has good food too, but it's not the same menu.

I wasn’t expecting such kind of experience of beer. Not doubt Augustine beers are awesomely great. It was very hot day and after traveling a lot, the beer made me feel fresh. This place is a big garden with full of benches. Location is cool. Easy to be here by bus, tram or even train station is not far. There was a kids park at the corner of this place where your kids can play while you can have beer. Haven’t got such kind of experience in England. The whole place was full of friends, families and people all around who want to enjoy the beer. The atmosphere was amazing. Didn’t happy with service where you have to be in queue but local people being served before us. Even I noticed that so Asians facing same thing. There’s a queue for rest of the world but not for locals. Process for beer were fine even the food was not very great but bit over priced. Anyhow I had very amazing and unforgettable time with friends and love to come back again.

This place has a garden which is especially great in summer time. Highly recommended is you’re strolling around. Also there is the option of self-service where you don’t need to wait for ordering and service. Quite ideal to pick up and eat fast. We ate on the self service part to be fast and catch our train.

Visited awhile ago but the atmosphere was great with traditional decor inside. I ordered something that was translated to “meatloaf” in English but it turned out to be some type of liver mix patty. It ended up being delicious!

An amazing place with a great atmosphere! When you walk in for the first time it is a little chaotic and hard to get a waiter and seat. Once you get a seat it is smooth sailing. You order your food and a beer and the waiters are more attentive and kind. Highly recomend the Munich Schnitzel! Overall, this restaurant encapsulated the Bavarian experience, a must try for everyone!

Mandatory place to visit in Munich center. Even though big crowds are here and food is mass produced, everything is perfect. Food tasty, beer fresh, atmosphere great. I would aviod going on upper quiet level since all the fun is downstairs. Downstairs you could be sharing table with strangers which makes it fun. Try the duck, pork knuckle in dark beer and sausages mix!

Would recommend coming here for beer. We felt the food wasn’t as value for money/tasty. Other than that, the atmosphere was pleasant and lively as there were a lot of people on the first floor, and there were live musical performances. A lot of people seated inside were very happy, drinking and talking, and evidently enjoyed themselves here. Service wise, the waiter took a while to attend to us, but when he arrived, we had to state our orders clearly and quickly. Very soon, he had arrived with our food.
