I recommend visiting, my girlfriend and I had a kebab box and a hamburger, we were both satisfied, only next time you don't have to wrap the burger in foil and the sauce for the kebab doesn't have to be so sweet, as for the service, they are friendly and helpful, that's why I rate it 4 asterisks.

Pche, prej kebab in a tortilla. More like a failed wrap. I don't think I can recommend this. If you want to feel sick, enjoy it. They should have told me in that empty cubicle that it would not be a general gastronomic experience.

Great kebab, definitely recommend stopping by. The only thing I would change is the spicy dressing, which seemed more like something creamy or slightly yogurty... but otherwise it's great for a kebab lover :)

Probably the best looking restaurant in Podhájska. It is located in an old-looking mansion. As for the food, it was great by swimming pool standards. The service was helpful and diligent. Prices a little higher, but nothing that could not be managed. I recommend.

During our visit to the swimming pool in Podhájska, we visited this restaurant. We did really well. The food was excellent, the service attentive and fast, the food preparation also fast. We enjoyed ourselves very much. Beautiful view and atmosphere. I definitely recommend.

The service is catastrophic, not only that you don't know if you are being served by the staff or someone from the street, but also the approach itself. Specifically, a very unpleasant black-haired, oily lady with a lip piercing.

So I am editing the review after a week's stay.. We are here for the third year.. Accommodation at vodnik. The approach of the owners is going down the drain. There is a lot of dust on the carpets in the apartment (I am attaching photos), there is no smoking, when you go to ask for something, you can see that you are asking, dust in the cupboards, the kitchen is not equipped, the service in the restaurant is ok, except for one woman, I recommend counting the MONEY and CHECKING the receipts, food - portions of 100-110 grams.. The swimming pool is great, the view is great, the chef is trying his best.. But we will definitely not come back here.. I do not recommend U Vodnika pension as accommodation

They cook very well and tasty here. We are here for a week and the great selection of dishes suits everyone's appetite. Pleasant and cheerful staff. Thank you, we are happy to come back here as well as to the accommodation at U Vodnika, the new large accommodation outside the swimming pool area.

We would like to thank you for a beautiful holiday at the Vodník II guest house. The guesthouse is very tastefully decorated and the living is very pleasant here. Dining in the restaurant is extraordinary and the chef deserves great praise. But what we value most is the friendly and kind behavior of the whole staff. Clients literally pamper and they all adorn smiles. Nowadays, and especially in Bohemia, there is already a rare motto. Once again, thank you very much and we will be happy to come back. Guests from South Bohemia.

Atm best restaurant in town, had steak tartare and game guláš next day. Good 🍻 beer. Need to mention ceramic fire 🔥 place.

Me and my wife have been in. Very nice and pleasant place however we have been waiting twice now on two separate visits for food for over an hour and half. Very disappointed and will definitely not be coming back to dine here.

all we ordered was delicious, they were also the only place open later in the evening - steaks, furman halusky, grilled fish/hejk with salad, pancakes with berries and vanilla pudding; also very good portions

We went to see it during our weekend visit to Podhájská. Even though we arrived at around 11 p.m., it was quite full and fun.

Hello. 🙋‍♂️. We went for dinner in the early evening of 25.6. We wanted the Jazmín grill, but it was closed (occupied). So we went to Energy. We wanted a coca cola bottle, then a blueberry - they didn't have it. We drank a raspberry and a glass of wine. We ordered food - I had roast pork, cabbage, dumplings - the best portion and tastiest of all the dishes ordered, we had salmon with garlic twice - I tasted it at the end, but it wasn't salmon, it didn't taste or smell like salmon, and I personally, even my daughter didn't like it at all, I don't recommend this dish (I make salmon in butter at home and it's a different delicacy, taste, smell) next we had pork ribs, which were good, but not enough, another dish was a chicken stuffed Gordon steak, the last dish was chicken steak, chicken dishes were good. Alcoholic, non-alcoholic drinks, 6 meals for almost 77 euros is a very reasonable price considering the location we were in. The service was fast, nice 👍. Your rating was ruined by salmon.

The worst restaurant we have ever visited. We waited for food for over an hour and a half. One dish was brought to us with raw fish, another place grilled vegetables frozen and cold. All the people there were complaining about something, it was terrible. The only plus was the nice waitresses who tried and apologized. The owner should realize and invest in kitchen staff.

Pretty bad experience. Meals look great, but lack any taste. We had spaghetti bolognese - lots of meat, no taste. Then New York burger - bun was stone hard, meat overdone without a trace of juice or taste. The only positive were fries - really good. And the last meal was pizza - fine dough, but nonsense combination of vegetables. Our friends just shook off all the vegetables and ate plain dough. We tried this place as a replacement for U Vodníka and we regret that.

Awful service! They brought us bread with mould TWISE!!! Witch we didn’t eat and gave back twise as well and afterwards they included it into our receipt, but I refused to pay. Also We ordered pasta for little children and she brought us pasta with MUSHROOMS! (Maybe she doesn’t have kids, and she doesn’t know, that children can’t eat mushrooms!) Though it was said “pasta for kids”. The taste of food is overage.

The food was great, no too long waiting, waitresses amazing, helpful, kind and friendly … definitely will return back. Very nice place to have a lunch or dinner. If someone expect pre cooked food and no waiting, should visit fast food in stead of this place ….

Food was alright, came quickly. Price average for the area. All in all ok, but nothing special. However the ordering itself was super complicated due to no english language skills of bother the waiter and the waitress. One of three things I ordered was forgotten. I was sitting 20 min. Waiting - it turned out that he misunderstood me after I proactively approached him to ask.

I did not like the service, staff nor the food provided during my last visit. They took way too long to bring out our food, with one pizza coming close to the 1h mark of waiting and the rest of our order came only after the pizza was already finished by a single person going really slow. The staff were a bit snappy and felt unwelcoming. Lastly, the pizza was burnt from the underside... Not slightly, I mean real black spots covering entire slices. And the sauce tasted like ketchup with oregano mixed in. Overall, a really unfortunate experience. I hope it was an infrequent and unlucky coincidence and it was simply an off-day for the staff. If I ever manage to revisit this place, I will gladly redo my review.

If 0 stars would be possible to rate then would be real rating of this place. Just avoid. Service is terrible (mainly because of staff), food is very basic, extremely overpriced for what this place is actually is offering. I don't understand how such places still can run and exist in this business....
