We had Wiener Schnitzels at this restaurant for lunch, and they were big and very tasty! The products are not overpriced and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The place has fine authentic atmosphere and is located near the Mariahilferstaße and thus is easily accessible.

The service was super friendly and the wiener Schnitzel with cheese and ham was absolutely amazing. Crispy through the end and the cheese melting and flowing out of Schnitzel the whole time:-) it was really the best. I ate three times more than my usual portion to finish as I just couldn’t stop eating! The best of the best! :-) Please don’t miss!

If you are aware of what you are getting into, then fantastic! An absolutely authentic Austrian pub atmosphere. The schnitzel is from pork, freshly made and super tasty! For 2 people with 2 large beers 40€. Recommendation! Get there hungry!

The portions of Wiener Schnitzel are huge! You can even share with another person and the price is really nice 👍🏻 The mixed salad is so good with the Wiener Schnitzel!! I strongly recommend this restaurant:)

The best goose liver I've ever had, with the best toast. Best butter. Best potatoes. Great meat and broth. Waiters were super nice and professional. Food was well worth it's price, even though it was expensive. But you can easily find similarly priced food with way worse quality.

The beef soup was just amazing - love the flavor and how soft the meat is; also love how they thought you the traditional way to enjoy the dish! Waiters are also very friendly and helpful. Very educational while the meal is absolutely yummy.

Best schnitzel ever. Good service, amazing quality food. Prices are high of course because it is one of the most famous viennese restaurants. Beware that there are extra charges for bread, splitting dishes etc. Just know this is not a cheap restaurant by any means.

Must make reservation! The signature beef soup was very flavorful, tendor beef, with clear delicious soup (a bit on the salty side). The Apple sauce with horseradish was a perfect match! Good service!

Very perfect place for meat lovers. I recommend groz ribs for 24,99 enough easily for 2 or 1 very hungry person. You will see that the restaurant is very busy and this is normal due to the delicious food they offer. The location is not in the Center of the city but it deserves every minute of driving. I really recommend for anyone to visit this lovely restaurant.

We landed on 1516 out of desperation but it was meant to be... That place absolutely rocks! The low-key cozy atmosphere, the exquisite service, the delicious food, and their amazing beer had delivered one of the best experiences in Vienna! The two Greek waiters on the upper floor had been so kind, helpful, and swift with the service. Sadly, we run out of holiday time but most definitely we will be visiting again on our next visit to Vienna.

Great brewery in the middle of the old town, next to the Australian Pub. the entrance floor is for smokers and the top floor is the restaurant. my second time there after 3 years and still love this place. We ordered the Alpine Cheese Spaetzle (some kind of risotto made of potatoes - really good, Vienna Chicken Schnitzel and Vegan Burger. Nice prices and big dishes, very recommended!

Restaurant full of character, ridiculous prices I’ve been there for dinner and I enjoyed the experience. The restaurant is really cozy, I like its furniture and the overall atmosphere of the place. The meal was good, we ordered schnitzel and gulasch (not the best I had in Vienna, but they were quite inexpensive meals) and we tried both craft beers (the lager and the other one - they were good)

We had reservation for late lunch! We come here to eat ribs. Food was tasty and good and big portion! You don’t need to wait food long time…. It was maybe too quickly (fast food). Beer is great 👍! Service it isn’t… weiters only ask what we want to eat and drink and then food come and then we pay to bill!!! Not so nice experience! It’s for tourists??? Garlic soup was great!!!!

It is a very good beer restaurant with a beer garden where they serve their own beer, and the beer is excellent. The food is also good, the portion is big, but for my taste, it was slightly over-salted. Anyway, it is still recommended to visit this place.

The restaurant is right next to the Belvedere, it’s very convenient for you after a museum trip and want to have dinner in the same area. The staffs are friendly, they wear traditional clothes. Highly recommend booking a table prior because it’s crowded. The food is great, we cannot finish a huge pork knuckle for 2. If you have seats in the yard, there’s absolutely no electric sockets for your phone charger, but can ask the waiters.

Referred by a friend so I had to try it. We waited only about 25 minutes; the line moved along very fast. I think that most people come for coffee and dessert. We came for dinner and dessert. I order the Wiener schnitzel and my hubby got the sausage w/goulash. We both LOVED our meals! Even the potatoes and salad were absolutely delicious! The 3 stars are about the desserts. I got the famous torte and he got fudge cake. Both were VERY dry and there didn’t seem to be fudge in the fudge cake! I was expecting the best chocolate cake I’ve ever had and was sadly disappointed. It was so dry I didn’t even finish it. Our actual meal was great, the service was great and the decor was great; just not the famous “sacher Torte”.

When we were in Vienna , we tried both famous Cafes with Sacher cake. Definitely we prefer Cafe Sacher Wien. This Cafe still keep old traditions. The staff is really nice and polite. They don’t treat you like another tourist. The atmosphere is elegant. The cake was delicious and the cappuccino was with high quality.

Recommended by a friend to try the original Sacher-Torte and apple strudel. Both were delicious, did not disappoint! Definitely the place to satisfy your sweet tooth cravings in Vienna! Service was great too; my waiter was super nice and it was a great experience. There's a bit of a line though since this place is so popular. Oh and did I mention the decor is 🔥?

Instead of fighting the crowds at the cafe, we had lunch reservations at the restaurant, Restaurant Red Bar. Fantastic experience, with great food and service without the chaos of the crowds to deal with. Just a small number of customers in a beautiful red velvet lined dining room. Very quiet and relaxed atmosphere. Recommend the beef tartar.

I think you spend more time in line than actually inside the cafe. The service was okay, I don’t complain, I didn’t feel rushed as many of the other reviewers say. All waitresses were nice, despite being so busy. I was there an hour after opening and there was already a queue, had to wait 40 min to get a seat, when I left there still was a long queue so honestly, I think they do a great job despite the large crowd. I don’t understand why they don’t sit people in the outside tables but I’m assuming they have orders from the hotel not to, which is pretty bad and I don’t justify that in any way. Wouldn’t go back for that reason. I had breakfast and the sacher cake, was it great? No. Was it worth it? I guess if you’re willing to wait for the experience and not the food, go ahead. The breakfast was okay 6/10, but the cake? Definitely not worth the hype, it was kind of dry inside and the people who say is the best, have never tried a good chocolate cake. The place is nice but so are many other places. Not anything extraordinary that makes you want to come back. Wouldn’t recommend going if you appreciate your time.

Classic Vienna cafe experience. Well worth a wait to get in, but even better if you plan ahead and get a reservation. Food is great with some nice seasonal specials. I had a pumpkin and potato strudel, which was a nice savory strudel experience. Their coffees are all great in any style you desire. The desserts are worth a visit alone!

What a delight! Beautiful surroundings, lovely ambience and good service, not to mention the excellent food. Enjoyed schnitzel with a Caesar salad (the schnitzels are large in size but the staff don't mind if you order one to share). There was a wonderful array of desserts on offer too - difficult to choose just one! Easy to find and close to tram routes. Seating is available outdoors as well as inside for those who wish.

Pastries were scrumptious, melting in your mouth, perfect sweetness. Tea was really good. Beer was perfect temperature and had robust taste. Food was also super delicious. We just didn’t like cappuccino! Staff were professional and respectful. Everything was well designed and they thought about every single detail! We had such a unique experience!

There was a line for dine in when we arrived but it only took about 5- 10 minutes before we were seated. Customer service was great and staff worked very fast to seat customers by rearranging tables and chairs. I ordered a fruit tea along with the Viennese chicken. Presentation of the tea and the main dish was a 10/10. It was great that they paid attention to detail. It was a nice touch that they gave you crystallized candy that gave the tea a little sweetness. The chicken meat was soft and tender while the outside was crispy. Best fried chicken I have had. It did not seem over greasy and the meat was not chewy. Just wished that I had room to have dessert there.

It has been almost 15 years since I last ate at a Hard Rock, and like war, they haven't changed in that time. The signature hamburger for 23 USD was no bigger than a Big Mac and tasted only slightly better. The fries tasted and had a texture of being left out for a bit, and the Long Island Iced Tea at 15 USD was incredibly small and weak. Needles to say, I was left feeling guilty for having spent that much, only to get so little. Service, however, was great, and the atmosphere is as I remembered with good rock music and videos going. Go for the service and atmosphere, not so much the food.

Great experience in Hard Rock Vienna. Waitress was full of energy and really added to the rocking atmosphere already present in a busy restaurant, on a Saturday evening. Food was good and we're very accommodating with my strange food request. I've spent time in numerous Hard Rock Cafés but this one was the best experience yet.

Big and busy but well organized Beer garden with traditional specialties Austrian dishes such as delicious crispy roasted pork knuckle with sauerkraut and pancakes for dessert. Grilled chicken was not their specialties so it wasn’t good enough comparing to pork knuckle. Another highlight is beer with wide range of craft beers. I drank dark beer and it was cold and tasty. Btw they have private areas for big groups

The only place you'll get fresher tasting beer is the brewery itself. Since beer is constantly served and the taps are never turned off, the beer is very satisfying. Most plates during busy hours are already made, ready to go as it's delivered about 5 minutes after ordering, but is really good and not overly salty like you'll find in a lot places.

The food in Schweizerhaus is really good. I have taken more people who were new to Vienna or Europe, and all loved their food. They have a lot of choice of traditional dishes, including fresh beer. Sitting in the garden is enjoyable, waiters are very nice and food comes in a very short time after ordering. A must try for everyone, but vegans might not find their favorite dish in this restaurant.

Traditional place to eat Stelze and other local foods. Prices are high but is in Prater and in a historical building. Vibes are great for tourists, good to have some nice local food and beers. Terrace is big so great place to be outdoor in summer.

This is one of the very traditional places to eat in Vienna and it's very popular so best to make a reservation or you might be queuing to get in. So how's the Schnitzel? First of all, it's HUGE! It's very thin though, but it's still a very big portion. It's also really tasty and works well with their potato salad. The service was a bit odd though decently friendly and the prices were on the higher side, though about right given the setting. Overall a very good experience so if you're looking to try the authentic Wiener Schnitzel, this is the place to do it.

The Schnitzel was very Good. Beer also tasty. Staff also kind and helpful. I highly recommend. But pls be sure to make reservation before you go. Because there is a possibility to wait in long quay line and not find an empty table.

Great service, tasty food and fast turnover from order to arrival. It gets busy fast so I would recommend a reservation, however you can get a seating even if you don’t have one. As they recommend on the menu to try the famous schnitzel in Austria and the potatoes are tasty (little bit too sweet for me personally, but still tasty). Overall, would recommend to try at least once. The place is huge, also has a nice busy but well organised presence, nice history decor and positive vibes. Interestingly, I used ChatGPT to recommend an itinerary and restaurant to taste Vienna cuisine and Figlmüller was the suggestion.

Me and my dad had a pork schnitzel and potato salad for lunch, the schnitzel was too filling so I do not recommend it for lunch. The schnitzel was the best schnitzel I have ever had and the toilets were very clean. Although me and my dad had a reservation, the line wasn't that long so you really don't need to (at least for lunch)
