Subway in Zandam was exactly what you expect for food. Clean, good quality, fresh ingredients. Bathroom was clean too. We were in a hurry and hungry, so a place we recognized from Canada was just the ticket. :)

The subs are fresh & tasty. The place is very clean and the owners are very friendly. It's my go to place least once every week.

This is a medium sized restaurant with outdoor and indoor seating and a relaxed atmosphere. They have a vast variety of pancakes, both sweet and savory (and also excellent pofferjes!). You could also get a pizza pancake!! Staff is nice, it's a cool area to sit around and enjoy the views in the sun (or inside if you prefer). And if you get too warm, they also have gelato! They're dog friendly too (we sat outside) and the staff would bring water bowl for the dog. 10/10 would go back again and recommend to others.

It’s a cute cozy place for brunch or evening drinks. The service was really good and we loved the pancakes we ordered. Will definitely visit again ❤️

Really nice decor and traditional atmosphere. Also the pancake syrup is delicious. A very nice and delicious experience.

No one comes to take your order. You have to go order inside and bring it yourself . The rest was really nice. Best pancakes we ever had and the atmosphere was very nice too.

Incredibly rude woman "greeted" us when we were trying to decide where to eat for the evening. We are tourists from the UK. We were asking about the menus and whether she had a paper menu that we could take away we could take away. She snatched the display menu from my husband as if he was going to steal it! Then bluntly told us is we want to see a menu we can look online. Needless to say we will not be frequenting this place. She needs lessons in customer service!

Pork loin was very tender and juicy. The staff was very friendly and helpful to us, who only speak English. Very nice time.

We went to Roezemoes for a diner. This is a very nice place with affordable and good quality food. The staf is very kind and helpful. The atmosphere is nice. So, we had a nice evening. René and Menekşe.

We visited Lab-44 on a sunny, hot Saturday evening. The place is very special. Inside an industrial area, it has a unique atmosphere and it’s very own character. It’s not the typical touristic restaurant you will find in a city, and I realised it’s a place locals know and prefer. We had dinner at the terrace. Service was quick and personnel very polite. Food was amazing. We were 5 people, 4 adults and 1 child, we had beef burgers with fries, and pizzas. All delicious, tasty and well cooked. Also drinks. We had Aperol spritz and Strawberry Daiquiri, all well prepared and served. There is a big grass field on the side of the restaurant, where children can play, without cars passing by. Very safe and quiet. It was a relaxing evening, that we enjoyed very much.

Absolute hidden gem in Zaandam, deep in the Hem area. Food is amazing. Something for everybody, from burger to pizza to high cuisine dishes. Tried a couple of starters, loved the tuna and dessert. Great craft beer beautiful location. Not that expensive. Go!

Friendly personnel, quick service, and tasty food! There’s a variety of dishes to choose from for lunch, drinks and diner. If you love the sun as much as I do, you might want to sit on the terrace, it’s big and on the sunny side of the restaurant. There are also places in the shade if you want to mix it up.

Really, really good experience. The interior is large and spacious along with a nice energy. The food (that we ate) was excellent. Menu offers are really varied choice and the quality to price is very fair.

Have visited the restaurant many rimes and its always been great. However today I ordered calamari and chicken gyros asked for delivery between 7 and 7:30pm it arrived at 6:15pm. The calamari is absolutely awful i had to put it in the bin. Was not what I expected from a dish ive had many times in the restaurant before. Such a shame. I never leave reviews but felt something needed to be said!

Great Greek restaurant near Amsterdam… and in the heart of Zaandam . The food was excellent and the prices was reasonable. The staff was really helpful and friendly . And one of the best points was the decoration. Finally one of the best Greek restaurants without blue and white colours and Greek flags around.. I’ll be back soon.

I will be back here and it is good. Arnaki stifado is a must! Next time I will try the Mix grill!

Very simple Greek cuisine. The food is good quality. Attentive staff. Greet you at the table with a free drink. Excellent calamari. Very nice grilled meats. Definitely will return and try some other dishes.

A welcoming atmosphere and service. You can see it's a beloved place in Zaandam. Comfortable tables and cozy, easy for conversation. Service is fast and attentive. Very tasty appetizers. Simple as greek cuisine is, but quality ingredients and satisfying. Excellent kalamaria. The meat was pretty good too. We'll try different things next time.

Decent price for all you can eat tapas , food was nit too bad although the service was terrible, looked like all staff were secondary school students there , they were not clear how the order system worked , we ended up waiting for an hour still no food . Not a nice experience

A wonderfully delightful dining experience unfolded as we savored a delectable meal with our. The array of tapas presented a symphony of flavors, offering a plethora of delectable dishes to choose from. La Cubanita stood out as our absolute favorite, and we wholeheartedly endorse it as a must-try. The staff, exuding warmth and friendliness, further enhanced our dining pleasure. The ambiance added an extra layer of coziness to the overall experience. Such moments create lasting memories that we fondly cherish.

I went to have dinner with an Indonesian friend. The waitress asked us if we had reservation and we said no. The place was empty, it was still early ( 6 pm). Then she says sorry, it’s full, we cannot have dinner there, which we found it was rude and weird. I asked her again politely why? She says I cannot give you a table. So we left… I really don’t recommend this place, I felt discriminated 👎

Delicious food. Specially impressed by the service. I was here quite late (21.30) and the kitchen was closing in 45 minutes. Shannon tried hard to order food as soon as possible for me (so I have enough time to enjoy the food), she checks the order carefully to ensure I get things right, when I am finishing she also checked with me carefully if I was really ready to stop. So kind and so professional! Will be back for sure.

Department store with household items, clothes, food and drinks. Their products tend to be both durable and cheap. They also offer a variety of insurance and notary services which can be attractive if you just need the basics. This location has an exceptionally clean public toilet, which can be used for a small fee. The food in the diner is a bit mediocre, but comes at a budget price.

Big store with a wide, reasonably priced, arrangement of products. From clothing to kids toys to apothecary products to house products. On the top floor is a little cafeteria with very basic but low priced food. In the morning they have breakfast deals, but be aware what belongs to the deal and what will cost you extra, it's not always as clear so if needed ask the staff.

Love this place since the first time I was there. It has a lot of great options and great quality products! You can come here until 10 o’clock in the mornings to get a good breakfast at just 2 euro! They have also photo book services

When you enter the inside it feels cozy, so tried it for lunch. Unfortunately quite disappointed. A Japanese fried chicken salad which sounded very tasty on the menu, for 17.50 eur, but reality did not match the price. Elements missing or I did not taste it (sesame seeds and vinaigrette). Chicken was fried dry… and only few small pieces, looked sad. Kids menu was fine but pricy for what you get. Staff not all that great, especially one guy who clearly made an huge effort to pretend to be friendly.

It's really cosy. We went there on Saturday, it was not busy. I really liked the fries, really tasty. We ordered tacos, they were yummy, but really small finger food starter. Giozas were good. The beer was also good.

Went there with my family for a few drinks it was my cousins birthday and we were treated horribly. First we were scoffed somewhere in a corner we ordered drinks but they never came the table was not cleared out. So eventually after waiting an hour on nothing we stood up on left. Horrible service it is the last time I will go there. Also the food isn’t that great and it is not the first time that the severs treat you bad or ignore you.

First off, comfortable seating and helpful service. This glass of cleanliness is not to my liking. I politely asked the employees. Do you have another one? After washing, he returned. Fingerprint on the same glass. Sorry. In a restaurant, I won't use another person's handprint to clean the glass.

Great theater, I like it very much. The concert building in Amsterdam was my favorite and when I change my place to Zaandam I changed also my favorite theater. It contains many halls for concerts, theater shows, music parties and many other activities. And they used some halls for companies seminars or meetings too!

This was good fun and this is an extremely good theatre and theres lots of good peopleshows here and i actually did one myself, i ordered nothing and i got a rose, very cool i like it, the atmosphere was sometimes being gassed with water to maintain air non-dryness but if you dont know what it is for the first time its scary but very cool theatre

Maybe too soon to review after one noon show during a pandemic, but I loved this place. The organization was good from QR codes to cloak room to venue. The fact that the theatre support refugees and young talent should not go unnoticed at a time like this. Big ups for all effort to the leaders. I wish to see more alternative shows, for example in English, or artsy / opera performance would be nice.

We were here at the ballet Dorian, based on the novel The Picture of Dorian Gray. We liked the ballet and the theater for both comfort and atmosphere.

The staff is VERY hospitable; you are welcomed at the entrance and the wardrobe staff is very polite. Sometimes a bit crowded at the bar, but hey. The service level is a rarity in theaters (maybe in Holland...), but makes you feel very welcome as a guest. Zaantheater is therefore one of my favorite theaters.

Not bad. They have a habit of filling drinks only halfway. Paying full price for a half empty container is not good customer service. I sent it back and they filled it 3/4 jajaja

The meal is wonderful, but the ice cream is to die for. It is being given out for free because it is not worth the money. There are no tissues available, and the service is poor.

The happy meal came with a fish burger but I asked without ketchup, regular sauce.. I got no sauce and no cheese. But okay.

Have tried the McShaker Fries. What a huge disappointment! The snack consists of: - a normal portion of medium/large fries, which are obviously already salted.... & - a paprika powder dressing, which is exaggeratedly salty. Not to mention the price...

Bought only fries but it is always delicious.
